I find when I’m irritable the best medicine for me is a long walk by myself to sort out my thoughts or to ignore then for a little. Then if I am still feeling that way, I have a wonderful better half who is always willing to drop things and to listen. And a wonderful hug does help.

A physically healthy lifestyle, a great prayerpartner, many supportive friends online, and writing poetry, sketching/painting, playing/listening to music, singing, dancing by yourself (or with your dogs!), all just quickly drain off irritability–like unstopping a plugged up drainpipe!

Sometimes a walk does it, a bit of time on my own, or a good chat with a friend, and very often a nice cup of tea works wonders.
